العديد منا لا يسمع عن برنامج ذاكرة الترجمة مع أنها ليست بالشيء الجديد ، و لكن الكثير منا أيضا لا يتعامل باحتراف مع الحاسب الآلي. باستخدام برنامج ترادوس يمكن لك مضاعفة عدد الصفحات التي تترجمها إلي خمس أضعاف.
للتوضيح هذا ليس مترجم يترجم لك فقرات ، هذه البرامج تترجم ترجمة ضعيفة جدا لا يمكن قبولها في مهنتنا. أما برامج ذاكرة المترجم كترادوس و الاصدار الأخير من سيستران يقومان بتخزين المصطلحات و المعاني الجديدة التي تريد ان تخزنها في ذاكرته. بهذا عندما تريد ترجمة نص سوف يتم ترجمته علي أساس ما تخزنه أنت ، أما برمج ترجمة الحاسب هي برامج تترجم مباشرة و ليس لك أي تحكم.
الخلاصة: برنامج ترادوس يعد مرحلة متوسطة بين برامج ترجمة الحاسب و بين عقلك أنت كمترجم. البرنامج يحتاج إلي وقت لتعلمه و أستخدامه ليس سهل ، فهو للمترجم الجاد المحترف.
طبعا هذا البرنامج ليس من إختصاصي ولكنه طلبه مني مكتب برمجة فقمت بتنزيله ثم رأيت فائدته وغلو سعره الذي يصل إلى ألف دولار فلذلك سأضعه هنا فرب سامع أبلغ من ناقل
هنالك فرق بين برامج الترجمة بمساعدة الحاسوب وبرامج الترجمة الآلية.
فالأولى، أي برامج الترجمة بمساعدة الحاسوب Computer Aided Translation، مثل برنامج Trados ما هي إلا امتداد لقدرات المترجم. أي أن المترجم يقوم بالترجمة ويستعين بهذه البرامج لزيادة سرعة الإنتاج وتحسينه.
أما الثانية، أي برامج الترجمة الآلية Machine Translation، فهي برامج قائمة بذاتها، لا يكون للمترجم أي دور في الترجمة سوى أن يلقم البرنامج بالنص الأصلي ليقوم البرنامج بترجمته بصورة كاملة. عندئذ يقوم المترجم بتحرير الترجمة وتدقيقها. وبالنسبة لهذه البرامج تكون الترجمة ركيكة ويكون من الأفضل إعادة الترجمة بدلا من تدقيقها على الأقل بالنسبة للترجمة من وإلى اللغة العربية. وقد يمر وقت طويل، ربما عشرات السنين، قبل أن تتطور مثل هذه البرامج بدرجة يعتمد عليها في اللغة العربية.
منذ أربع سنوات تقريبـًا بدأت باستخدام Trados. ولهذا البرنامج فوائد جمة إلا إنه يتطلب الكثير من التحضير مع التحلي بصبر يضاهي صبر أيوب لكي تتم الاستفادة منه. ومتى ما تعلم المترجم استعمال البرنامج يبدأ بالتساؤل كيف استطاع الصمود في مهنة الترجمة لحد الآن بدون هذا البرنامج!
وبطبيعة الحال لا يجوز الخلط بين هذا البرنامج وبرامج الترجمة الآلية التي تحتاج إلى تطوير كبير قبل أن يكون في استطاعتها إنتاج ترجمة يعتمد عليها من وإلى اللغة العربية. وإن كانت هذه البرامج قد قطعت شوطاً بعيداً في الترجمة من وإلى اللغات الأوروبية والصينية واليابانية.
الفائدة الأولى من البرنامج أنه يساعد على تنظيم عملية الترجمة حيث يقوم بتجزئة النص إلى مقاطع قصيرة تسمى segments ويضع كل مقطع في إطار مع وضع إطار فارغ تحته لتعبئته بالترجمة العربية. وفائدة هذه الميزة هي التركيز على النص المراد ترجمته. وهذه الطريقة تساعد أيضاً على عدم إلغاء ترجمة أي مصطلح أو فقرة أو جملة. ويتنقل المترجم من مقطع إلى آخر حتى ينتهي من ترجمة النص كله. ثم يصبح في مقدوره أن يحفظ ملف يسمى الذاكرة Memory لاستخدامه في حالة إجراء تعديلات على النص الأصلي. عندها لا يضطر المترجم إلى ترجمة كل النص بل مجرد التعديلات التي أجريت عليه. كما يمكن الاستفادة من الذاكرة لترجمة نص مماثل.
تتمثل الفائدة الثانية لبرنامج ترادوس في البرنامج المرافق له أي ملتي تيرم MultiTerm. وهو عبارة عن قاموس الكتروني يقوم المترجم ببنائه تدريجيا. وعندما يظهر مصطلح في النص الموجود داخل إطار الترجمة فإن البرنامج ينبه المترجم إلى وجود ترجمة لذلك المصطلح إذا كان معبئاً في برنامج ملتي تيرم. والطريقة المثلى لاستخدام ملتي تيرم هي قراءة النص المراد ترجمته قبل البدء بالترجمة وتأشير المصطلحات المتكررة فيه وتعبئتها في برنامج ملتي تيرم. وبعدها يقوم المترجم بفتح ترادوس وملتي تيرم معا بالإضافة إلى الملف المراد ترجمته. وفائدة هذا البرنامج هي تأمين الثبات في ترجمة المصطلحات (Consistency)، أي عدم ترجمة مصطلح معين بطرق مختلفة.
الفائدة الثالثة هي استخدام ميزة الكونكوردانس Concordance. بعد أن تتجمع لدى المترجم ملفات ذاكرة يستطيع أن يستفيد منها في ترجمة ملفات جديدة في مواضيع مطابقة لملفات الذاكرة. أي يمكن فتح ملف ذاكرة من خلال ميزة الكونكوردانس ويقوم المترجم بطباعة جملة في إطار الكونكوردانس ويطلب البحث في ملفات الذاكرة عن ترجمة الجملة الجديدة. ويقوم البرنامج بالبحث في ملفات الذاكرة فإذا عثر على ترجمات مطابقة للجملة المطلوبة فإنه يعرضها على شاشة صغيرة. وبإمكان المترجم استنساخ الترجمة ولصقها في ملف الترجمة. ولآخر نسخة من برنامج ترادوس ميزة جديدة وهي فتح عدد غير محدود من ملفات الكونكوردانس. وهكذا يعمل المترجم بصحبة مساعدين اثنين ملتي تيرم من جهة الذي يبحث عن المصطلحات وكونكوردانس من جهة أخرى يبحث عن المقاطع المترجمة سابقـًا.
هذه هي خلاصة موجزة عن برنامج ترادوس وفوائده المحتملة.
والبرنامج بحاجة إلى عملية تحضير دقيقة لكي يصبح في مقدور المترجم الاستفادة منه. لأن البرنامج لا يكون جاهزا للاستعمال في اللغة العربية إلا بعد اكتمال عملية التحضير. وهذه العمليات موضحة بإسهاب في كتب التعليمات المزودة مع البرنامج.

standards makes it easy to exchange files, memory translation
(Translation Memory) and terminology databases. Implemented support for
XLIFF (cross-platform file format for translation), TMX (Translation
database exchange format) and TBX (the format of the exchange of
terminological databases).
The kit also includes SDL Trados Suite
Pro 2007 SP3. Need for correct operation of some functions, version
2009. In contrast to the existing version here, the medicine is fully
operational, without changing any settings on your computer, and
distributor of full copy of the original, too, without any changes.
