There's new WHQL Intel RST driver/software available version 10.1.0.1008

Unpack the 7z file to the desktop.

Put the floppy files on a USB flash drive for use during a clean install of Windows 7 at the add driver screen.

If you already have windows installed open the Rapid Storage folder>right click on the iata_cd file and run as administrator.After installing you should reboot.

This is the first 14 series that has worked with my Ultimate N 6300

This package contains drivers and software plus Intel Widi software.

I suggest a custom install and then selecting all features in the ooptions for driver,My WiFi and Tools.

This wireless pro release updates the Intel Wireless Cards in notebooks including the new cards released with the Sandy Bridge/Huron River Mobile Platform such as the Advanced N 6230 Duel Band 300mb/s wireless card that is standard in some new notebooks.
Most manufactures install single band 150 mb/s entry level wireless cards.

EDIT: When buying a new laptop always ask which wireless card is stock.The 2.4 ghz band suffers from a lot of signal interference in areas of high wireless usage.The 5ghz band offers signals with little or no interference.

Naturally,you will need a duel band wireless router to use the 5ghz band on Intel 6000 series wireless cards.
